The National Museum exhibits six of the eight mummified remains buried around 1475,. The best preserved human remains in North America, were found by brothers, in 1972, in an Icy Cave. The remains were in two grave chambers, wrapped in fur and fully dressed. It is believed the bodies were of three generations of the same family that all died together. The youngest being about 6 months old.
