80 foot tall Pink Granite Obelisk at the entrance of the Luxor Temple on the East Bank of the Nile. At one time there were two Obelisk's, one on each side. The one on the right side is now in Paris at the Place De La Concorde. Four sacred baboons are carved on the pedestal and the names of Ramesses are carved on each side of the Obelisk. Luxor Temple, built around 1400 BC.
