Lei Feng Pagoda, 5 story octagonal building, was built around 975 by King Qian Chu celebrating the birth of his son. Japanese pirates tried burning it down during the Ming Dynasty and it collapsed in 1924. In 2002 it was rebuilt over the old ruins on the South Bank on West Lake in Hangzhou, China.
