#1421P Sacrifice Cliff Panorama
In the 1800's a Crow Village was camped on the Yellowstone River in the area where Billings, Montana is now located. The village contracted Smallpox and the people felt they had done something to anger the great spirit. One of the versions of what happened, was a group of warriors felt it was better to throw themselves off the cliff across the river, then die the kind of death they were witnessing. They blindfolded their horses and rode off the sixty foot cliff to their deaths.
